BEEJ KANSA

The Kansa BEEJ is a magnificent tool, those who know the healing powers of Kansa honor it for its therapeutic benefits, but Kansa is never optically perfect, and that's one of the reasons why most artists don't craft it anymore, it's also the most difficult material to handle. But as mentioned above the healing benefits are outstanding. Not everything that is called KANSA nowadays is KANSA. Unfortunately, some mix small portions of other material into it to make it a bit more flawless in appearance, easier to craft, and even save some money, but the original composition has changed and it is not pure Kansa. A nonexpert won't be able to tell. In its tradition, Ayurved KANSA has been known as THE healing metal for thousands of years, it would be so sad if we would lose this special Crafting Art. I found it shocking that even here in India, the birthplace of Kansa, nowadays it is hard to find PURE KANSA. In hope of keeping its traditional form alive I gratefully add my tiny part of service.
